Death is not dying

Rachel Barkey is a 37 year old woman. A mother. A wife. A teacher. And she is dying. I just watched her very compelling story.

There are a couple of things that strike me about her story. The lessons she is learning are so right on. And to me, it is obvious the many many hours of learning, studying, praying and practicing this kind of faith have gone into this kind of response to terminal cancer. A stuntman will often give a disclaimer "don't try this at home, all actors in this movie are highly skilled professionals". This video ought to have a similar disclaimer "You don't just respond to cancer like this. This takes years of worship, bible-study and careful attention to God and what He is doing in your life."
